This policy explains how TimeSpan Tools, the operator of timespantools.com, processes information when you use the site. We do not require a public user account for the calculators.

Calculations stay private

Date, time and countdown inputs are processed for the immediate request and are not stored as user records. Favorites and recently used items remain in your browser’s local storage.

Information we process

Calculator inputs are used to produce the requested result. Because calculator forms use shareable URLs, submitted values can appear in the requested URL and in standard server access logs. Do not enter confidential or sensitive personal information.

Server and security logs may include the requested URL, date and time, IP address, user-agent, referrer and response status. We use these records for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics and service reliability.

Site analytics

We use a self-hosted analytics service delivered from admin.aicodelab.co.kr. It can create a random visitor identifier in local storage and a random session identifier in session storage, then send the page path and title, referrer host, browser language, screen and viewport width. The collector converts the identifiers to keyed hashes and derives broad device, browser and operating-system categories. It does not intentionally collect your name, email address or calculator result.

The analytics code stops before creating identifiers or sending an event when Global Privacy Control is enabled or Do Not Track equals 1. You can also disable it for future page loads from the Cookie Policy.

Storage and retention

Language, time format, favorites and recent items remain in your browser until their stated duration ends or you clear them. Session storage normally ends when the browser session closes. Server and analytics records are kept according to operational retention settings and are deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, aggregate reporting or legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can clear browser storage, use browser cookie controls, enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, disable site analytics, and manage Google ad personalization. Depending on your location, you may also request access, correction or deletion of information linked to you. Email us and describe the request and the device or date range needed to locate relevant records.

Children

TimeSpan Tools is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top identifies the current version.

Advertising and Google AdSense

TimeSpan Tools may use Google AdSense after the site is approved. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website or other websites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to deliver, limit, measure and, where permitted, personalize ads using information such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed and ad interactions.

Consent and privacy choices

Before personalized ads are served to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) and request the choices required by applicable law. Available choices can be declined or changed through that consent message.

Manage advertising data

You can learn how Google uses information from partner sites and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies, although some features may then work differently.
