About TimeSpan Tools
Time should be easier to understand
TimeSpan Tools provides fast, free world clocks, time-zone conversion and calendar calculations for people working across borders. We use IANA time-zone rules so calculations account for real regional changes.
Our architecture separates one calculation engine from translated interface and editorial content, making accurate tools available to a growing global audience.
TimeSpan Tools Editorial Team
Each guide answers a specific planning or calculation question with definitions, boundary cases, worked reasoning, and a practical checklist. Primary standards or government references are shown on the article page. English editorial pages are indexed first; translated versions remain out of search until their separate review is complete.
Contact TimeSpan ToolsCalculation standards
Time conversions use named IANA time-zone identifiers and the rules available in the server time-zone database. UTC is the common reference; ISO 8601 week rules and Gregorian calendar rules are used where the tool says they apply. We do not treat short labels such as CST as globally unique or assume one UTC offset works for every date.
Data provenance
Holiday records include a country, date, classification, verification state, and source URL. We publish only stored years instead of generating unsupported dates, and each published country-year calendar exposes its retained source link. Location and time-zone pages identify the IANA zone used for their live calculations.
Review and freshness
Live clock values are calculated when the page is viewed, and date-sensitive conversions are recalculated for the selected moment. Translated interfaces and editorial content are reviewed separately; a translated URL stays out of the search index until its publication gate is complete.
Limits and corrections
Civil-time rules and public-holiday decisions can change after publication. Confirm legal, payroll, visa, court, school, travel, or safety-critical dates with the responsible authority. If a page is unclear or a source has moved, send the page URL and correction details to hello@timespantools.com.
